Divinity of Jesus the Christ

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? (Mk5:36)”began 10/24/18

The following is simply a consolidation of Scripture Verses (NT) that give testimony to Christ’s Divinity. Each verse provides direct Testimony to the Divinity of Jesus Christ. This Truth has been Disputed, debated in the Early Church, even today by Hebrews, Mohammedans, Atheist, even people who call themselves Christian. Yet this Scripture evidence below is overwhelming. When I began this list, I had no idea this would fill over 21 pages of verses. May yet still not all encompassing. Due to my “error” I would ask any reader that has an addition to suggest it for review, and include your “reason for its inclusion. As for demanding or suggesting the opposite, I will ignore those unless you have properly Discerned why I included the verse, and prove why I am in ERROR.

I have consolidated these Divinity verses / evidence into ELEVEN separate manifestations “Of Jesus the Christ’s Divinity’

[ I ] Holy Trinity reveals Himself to us :

(Lk1:35) And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

(Ps2:6-7) Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

(Mk1:9-11) And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan. And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him: And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

(Jn14:16)And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

(Jn14:26)But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

(Mt28:18-20) And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

John the Baptists – Baptism of the Lord_________Holy Trinity is manifest

(Jn1:14-34) John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that come after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him ……….He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias………… John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there stood one among you, whom ye know not; ….The next day John sees Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world This is he of whom I said, After me come, a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me. And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptize with the Holy Ghost. And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.

[ II ] Epeskiazen (grk) – overshadowed

(Mt1:20-23)But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

(Mt17:2-6) And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him. And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid. (Mk9:2-8); (Lk9:28-36)

(Lk1:35, 35, 41,47 )And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hathalso conceived a sonin her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. For with God nothing shall be impossible And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? ???

(Lk2:8-14) And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

(Is7:14) Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel

(Is9:5-6) For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

(Jgs13:7) But he said unto me, Behold, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and now drink no wine nor strong drink, neither eat any unclean thing: for the child shall be a Nazarite to God from the womb to the day of his death. Nazarite – the habits of the Nazarites require exploration, some deny that Mary, Joseph and Jesus were Nazarites as many other Pius jews of the time. Virginity and celibacy were said to be two of their traits?

Transfiguration before three Apostles/Witnesses:

(Mt17:2-8) And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

(Mk9:3-7)….……..and he was transfigured before them. And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them. And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.

(Lk9:28-36) And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering. And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elias: Who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem.And it came to pass, as they departed from him, Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias: not knowing what he said. While he thus spake, there came a cloud, and {Epeskiazen) overshadowed them: and they feared as they entered into the cloud. And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him. And when the voice was past, Jesus was found alone. And they kept it close, and told no man in those days any of those things which they had seen.

(2Pet1:16-18)For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. For he received from God the Father honor and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

[ III ] Jesus Prays for His Church To be One: as the Holy Trinity is One – Manifest: (Jn17:1-26)

These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, “Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gave me to do. And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gave me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gave them me; and they have kept thy word. Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee. For I have given unto them the words which thou gave me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me. I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. and d all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gave me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that thou should take them out of the world, but that thou should keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. And for their sake I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gave me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou loved me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

[ IV ] Jesus Claims His Divinity – Attributes Authority to himself:

Jesus speaks Quoting “I AM” (EX3:14) God said to Moses: “I AM WHO AM”.

(Jn8:7) Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

(Jn8:9) I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

(Jn8:58) Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

(Jn13:19) Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am he.

(Mk14:61-62) But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed? And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.(Lk22:67-71) Art thou the Christ? tell us. And he said unto them, If I tell you, ye will not believe: And if I also ask you, ye will not answer me, nor let me go.{Jesus Quotes Jer38:15} Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God. Then said they all, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto them, Ye say that I am. And they said, What need we any further witness? for we ourselves have heard of his own mouth. (Mt27:11)

(Jn5:17-23) And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day. But Jesus answered them, My Father work hitherto, and I work. Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God. Then answered Jesus and said unto them, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he see the Father do: for what things soever he do, these also do the Son likewise.” For the Father love the Son, and show him all things that himself do: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. For as the Father raise up the dead, and quicken them; even so the Son quicken whom he will. For the Father judge no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: That all men should honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that honor not the Son honor not the Father which hath sent him.

Bread from Heaven – our fathers ate manna from heaven in the wilderness:

(Jn6:27-29) Labor not for the meat which perish, but for that meat which endure unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed. Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent

(Is55:2) Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labor for that which satisfy not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

(Jn6:35) And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that come to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst

(Jn6:38) For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

(Jn6:40) And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which see the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

(Jn6:43- 48) Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, come unto me. Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believe on me hath everlasting life. I am that bread of life.

(Jn6:51) I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

(Jn6:53-54) Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you Who so eat my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

(Jn6:55) For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

(Jn6:56) He that eat my flesh, and drink my blood, dwell in me, and I in him.

(Jn6:57) As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eat me, even he shall live by me. (Unity)

(Jn6:63) It is the spirit that quicken; the flesh profit nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

(Jn6:68-70) Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.

And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God. Jesus “did I not choose you?… {Jn6:31- Ex16:4 15; Num11:8; Neh9:15; Ps78:24; Ps105:4}

(Jn7:29) But I know him: for I am from him, and he hath sent me. (Jn7:38) He that believe on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (Jn8:11) She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

(Jn8:12) Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, “I am the light of the world:” he that follow me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the “light of life”. (Jn8:14-15) Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go. Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man. (Jn8:16-21)And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me. It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true. I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me bear witness of me. Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.…Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come.

(Jn8:23-32) And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not thatI am he, ye shall die in your sins. Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning. I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him. They understood not that he spake to them of the Father. Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him. As he spake these words, many believed on him. Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

(Jn8:49-51) Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honor my Father, and ye do dishonor me. And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seek and judge. Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death. (Jn8:54-56) Jesus answered, If I honor myself, my honor is nothing: it is my Father that honor me; of whom ye say, that he is your God. Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying. Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.

(Jn10:10) The thief come not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

(Jn10:18) No man take it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

(Jn10:25) Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me.

(Jn10:29-30,32) My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. I and my Father are one. {Ex3:14; 20:7; Lev19:12; 24:14-16)} Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? (Is43:13) Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?

(Jn10:36-38) Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blaspheme; because I said, I am the Son of God If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.

(Jn11:24-26, 30) Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believe in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:And whosoever live and believe in me shall never die. Believe thou this? Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou would believe, thou should see the glory of God? {Lazarous}

(Jn12:28,30)Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again. ………Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sake….. But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:

(Jn12:44-45) Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me. And he that see me, see him that sent me.

Jn(13:8-9) Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me. Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head.(cleanse me of sin)

(Jn13:18-20) I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eat bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me. {(Ps41:9) Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.} Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am he. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receive whomsoever I send receive me; and he that receive me, receive him that sent me. {(Ex3:13-14); And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? And God said unto Moses, “I AM THAT I AM”: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.}

(Jn14:6-7) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man come unto the Father, but by me.If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him {(Ezk18:4) Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sin, it shall die. }

(Jn14:9-12)  Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how say thou then, Shew us the Father? Believe thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwell in me, he do the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believe on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

(Jn14:13-15) And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. If ye love me, keep my commandments. ) (Lev19:12) And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.

(Jn14:17-21) Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it see him not, neither know him: but ye know him; for he dwell with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Yet a little while, and the world see me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. He that hath my commandments, and keep them, he it is that love me: and he that love me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him

(Jn14:28)Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

(Jn15:1-3) I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman…… Now you are clean by reason of the word, which I have spoken to you.

(Jn15:9-17) As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant know not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. These things I command you, that ye love one another.

(Jn16:12-15) I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. How be it when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

(Jn16:22-33)And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man take from you. And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time come, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father. At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: For the Father himself love you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father. His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speak thou plainly, and speak no proverb. Now are we sure that thou know all things, and need not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou came forth from God. Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe? Behold, the hour come, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me. These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

(Jn17:1-5) Divinity/ Honor/ These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gave me to do. And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

(Jn17:10) And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.

(Jn20:26-29) Divinity: And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. Then saith he to Thomas, reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulcher. So they ran both together: and the other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulcher. And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in. Then come Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulcher, and see the linen clothes lie, And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself. Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulcher, and he saw, and believed. For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead. Then the disciples went away again unto their own home. But Mary stood without at the sepulcher weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulcher, And see two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. And they say unto her, Woman, why weep thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him. Now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these things, they doubted of them where unto this would grow. Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

But he that enter in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter open; and the sheep hear his voice: and he call his own sheep by name, and lead them out. And when he put forth his own sheep, he go before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

(Jn10:7-9) Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man take it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it up again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

(Jn10:26-28) But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, love thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Love thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou know all things; thou know that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoice more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray. (Lk15:4) What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?

(Mt24:36-42) But of that day and hour know no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. (details of Last Day)

(Mt25:1-13) Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish…..While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes; go ye out to meet him. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut….. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man come. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man come.

(Mt25:3-5)Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

(MT25:32-34) When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divide his sheep from the goats:And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world {final judgment}

(Mt26:64-66);(Mk14:61-62) Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, “Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven”. Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy. What think ye? They answered and said, He is guilty of death. (Lev24:16) And he that blaspheme the name of the LORD, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blaspheme the name of the LORD, shall be put to death. (Dan7:13-14) I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

(Mk1:14-15) Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,And saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel”.

(Mk12:25) For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.

(Mk12:34) And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question

(Lk22:29-30) confer kingdom Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations. And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me; That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

(Jn18:36) Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

{ The Apostles record supernatural signs, miracles and similar deeds in his Name}

(Mk16:17-18) Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believe and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believe not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

(Is43:12) I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God.
