VIII. ERRORS CONCERNING CHRISTIAN MARRIAGE

City essay: Taken from Pope Pius Syllabus of Errors (Marriage). The World instructed by Satanic forces perverts Christian Doctrine and in so doing creates confusion, error and grave sin throughout the Kingdom on earth, [our City of God!]. Pope Pius IX listed a “Syllabus of Errors that CtiyofGodBlog will attempt to shed a ray light, truth and actual teaching (Modern and Ancient)… these very errors of Satan and his States still are perverting, especially in this Sacrament of Matrimony, with same sex marriage perversion, presented as lawful institutions.

[Pius IX Syllabus of Errors on Marriage 1864] ref: Douay-Rheims Bible

The ‘One True” Faith teaches us and human reason demonstrates that a double order of things exists, and that we must therefore distinguish between the two earthly powers, the one of natural origin which provides for secular affairs and the tranquility of human society, the other of supernatural origin, which presides over the City of God, that is to say the Church of Christ, which has been divinely instituted for the sake of souls and of eternal salvation…. The duties of this twofold power are most wisely ordered in such a way that to God is given what is God’s (Matt. 22:21)

Error #65. The doctrine that Christ has raised marriage to the dignity of a sacrament cannot be at all tolerated. — Apostolic Letter “Ad Apostolicae,” Aug. 22, 1851.

CCC1601. ARTICLE 7 -THE SACRAMENT OF MATRIMONY“The matrimonial covenant, by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life, is by its nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring; this covenant between baptized persons has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament.84

The City, Outside the Walls of God’s plan represent those that prefer Satan and his many deceits. Thus REJECT the Christ, while sinfully pray with their lips, “Jesus.” The sanctity of Marriage cannot be tolerated by evil doers, as this would reduce Adultery, reduce abortions “child sacrifices” for their black sabbath altars of Evil’s glory. In many cults of Satan divorce is permitted, perverse marriages of the same sex hoisted on society, so topsey turvey has Indifferentism errors irrationally spread, that now civil union is not just between a man and a woman but any combination of 56 genders should be tolerated. [This is all to be OPPOSED – (according to God’s Natural Plan). “And He said: Let us make man to our image and likeness: (Gen1:26-27) “And God blessed them, saying: Increase and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it,” (Gen1:28)]

Instead this 2nd City of ruin, propagates to denigrate this sacrament and mock the entirety of Marriage. This incredible perverse practice promotes the idolatry of Masonic led NWO governments, who intend to destroy the family thus society at large, placing the State in charge, not the child’s parents. Hoping to promote same sex marriages, disordered family lifestyles, and confusion among pre-adulecent children, in efforts to reduce population growth. Organized Chaos is their goal from these “illuminated ones” outcasts of the garden of Eden. Seeking the promised riches of Satan to benefit in the upheaval. Today, the most vile unions, and unthinkable behaviors are put forward in the name of love my neighbor and tolerance of others fornication of individual beliefs.

ERROR#66. The Sacrament of Marriage is only a something accessory to the contract and separate from it, and the sacrament itself consists in the nuptial benediction alone. — Ibid.

The City of God, understands the nature of the Marriage ceremonial as not a accessory, but a union of their bodies in sacrifice to Jesus passion in the life of the Church. For the heathen, member of the 2nd City, then such a ceremony would be an accessory as each never intend to commit themselves to anything that would be similar to “sacrifice” only enjoyment and lust. Here the Infallible Church defines the covenant the two espoused parties commitment to God.

CCC1621 In the Latin Rite the celebration of marriage between two Catholic faithful normally takes place during Holy Mass, because of the connection of all the sacraments with the Paschal mystery of Christ.120 In the Eucharist the memorial of the New Covenant is realized, the New Covenant in which Christ has united himself for ever to the Church, his beloved bride for whom he gave himself up.121 It is therefore fitting that the spouses should seal their consent to give themselves to each other through the offering of their own lives by uniting it to the offering of Christ for his Church made present in the Eucharistic sacrifice, and by receiving the Eucharist so that, communicating in the same Body and the same Blood of Christ, they may form but “one body” in Christ.122

CCC1623 According to Latin tradition, the spouses as ministers of Christ’s grace mutually confer upon each other the sacrament of Matrimony by expressing their consent before the Church. In the tradition of the Eastern Churches, the priests (bishops or presbyters) are witnesses to the mutual consent given by the spouses,124 but for the validity of the sacrament their blessing is also necessary.125

CCC1624 The various liturgies abound in prayers of blessing and epiclesis asking God’s grace and blessing on the new couple, especially the bride. In the epiclesis of this sacrament the spouses receive the Holy Spirit as the communion of love of Christ and the Church.126The Holy Spirit is the seal of their covenant, the ever available source of their love and the strength to renew their fidelity.

ERROR #67. By the law of nature, the marriage tie is not indissoluble, and in many cases divorce properly so called may be decreed by the civil authority. — Ibid.; Allocution “Acerbissimum,” Sept. 27, 1852.

Marriage is Indissoluble, Lifelong Union in “One Flesh” / Prohibition of Adultery

CCC1605. Holy Scripture affirms that man and woman were created for one another: “It is not good that the man should be alone.”92 The woman, “flesh of his flesh,” his equal, his nearest in all things, is given to him by God as a “helpmate”; she thus represents God from whom comes our help.93 “Therefore a man leaves his father and his mother and cleaves to his wife, and they become one flesh.”94 The Lord himself shows that this signifies an unbreakable union of their two lives by recalling what the plan of the Creator had been “in the beginning”: “So they are no longer two, but one flesh.”

CCC1610. Moral conscience concerning the unity and indissolubility of marriage developed under the pedagogy of the old law. In the Old Testament the polygamy of patriarchs and kings is not yet explicitly rejected. Nevertheless, the law given to Moses aims at protecting the wife from arbitrary domination by the husband, even though according to the Lord’s words it still carries traces of man’s “hardness of heart” which was the reason Moses permitted men to divorce their wives.101

Marriage is Indissoluble: Scripture is not obscure in defining Marriage or adultery, below is listed over 20 separate verses on the subject.

In not ONE passage does the scriptures even hint that a civil OR state authority has authority over God’s words and commandments. Thus, these deceivers that promote “civil” power over Infallible God’s wisdom shall one day receive their just reward.

Exodus 20:14 You shall not commit adultery. (cf. Deut 5:18; Lev 20:10; Mt 19:18; Mk 10:19; Lk 18:20; Rom 13:9; James 2:11)

Proverbs 6:32 But he that is an adulterer, for the folly of his heart shall destroy his own soul: . (cf. 6:26; 30:20)

Jeremiah 3:1 It is commonly said: If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and marry another man, shall he return to her any more? shall not that woman be polluted, and defiled? but thou hast prostituted thyself to many lovers: nevertheless return to me, saith the Lord, and I will receive thee . . .

Jeremiah 7:9 To steal, to murder, to commit adultery, to swear falsely, to offer to Baalim, and to go after strange gods, which you know not. , (cf. 9:2)

Ezekiel 44:22 Neither shall they take to wife a widow, nor one that is divorced, but they shall take virgins of the seed of the house of Israel: but they may take a widow also, that is, the widow of a priest.

Hosea 4:14 I will not visit upon your daughters when they shall commit fornication, and upon your spouses when they shall commit adultery: because themselves conversed with harlots, and offered sacrifice with the effeminate, and the people that doth not understand shall be beaten.

Malachi 3:5 And I will come to you in judgment, and will be a speedy witness against sorcerers, and adulterers, and false swearers, and them that oppress the hireling in his wages; the widows, and the fatherless: and oppress the stranger, and have not feared me, saith the Lord of hosts.

Wisdom 14:26 Forgetfulness of God, defiling of souls, changing of nature, disorder in marriage, and the irregularity of adultery and uncleanness.

Sirach 23:33 For first she hath been unfaithful to the law of the most High: and secondly, she hath offended against her husband: thirdly, she hath fornicated in adultery, and hath gotten her children of another man. (cf. 25:2)

Matthew 5:27-28 You have heard that it was said to them of old: Thou shalt not commit adultery. But I say to you, that whosoever shall look on a woman to lust after her, hath already committed adultery with her in his heart.

Matthew 5:31-32 “And it hath been said, whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a bill of divorce. But I say to you, that whosoever shall put away his wife, excepting for the cause of fornication, make her to commit adultery: and he that shall marry her that is put away, commit adultery.”

Matthew 15:19 For from the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornication, thefts, false testimonies, blasphemies.

Matthew 19:3-11 And there came to him the Pharisees tempting him, and saying: Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause? Who answering, said to them: Have ye not read, that he who made man from the beginning, Made them male and female? And he said: For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife, and they two shall be in one flesh. Therefore now they are not two, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let no man put asunder. They say to him: Why then did Moses command to give a bill of divorce, and to put away? He saith to them: Because Moses by reason of the hardness of your heart permitted you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so. And I say to you, that whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, commit adultery: and he that shall marry her that is put away, commit adultery. His disciples say unto him: If the case of a man with his wife be so, it is not expedient to marry. Who said to them: All men take not this word, but they to whom it is given.

Mark 10:2-12 “And the Pharisees coming to him asked him: Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting him. But he answering, saith to them: What did Moses command you? Who said: Moses permitted to write a bill of divorce, and to put her away. To whom Jesus answering, said: Because of the hardness of your heart he wrote you that precept. But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female. For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother; and shall cleave to his wife. And they two shall be in one flesh. Therefore now they are not two, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. And in the house again his disciples asked him concerning the same thing. And he saith to them: Whosoever shall put away his wife and marry another, commits adultery against her. And if the wife shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she commits adultery.”

Luke 16:18 “Every one that puts away his wife, and marry another, commits adultery: and he that marry her that is put away from her husband, commits adultery.”

Romans 2:22 “Thou that say, men should not commit adultery, commits adultery: thou that abhors idols, commits sacrilege:”

Romans 7:1-3 “Know you not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) that the law hath dominion over a man, as long as it live? For the woman that hath an husband, whilst her husband lives is bound to the law. But if her husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband. Therefore, whilst her husband live, she shall be called an adulteress, if she be with another man: but if her husband be dead, she is delivered from the law of her husband; so that she is not an adulteress, if she be with another man.”

1 Corinthians 6:9 Know you not that the unjust shall not possess the kingdom of God? Do not err: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers,

1 Corinthians 7:3-5,10-15 Let the husband render the debt to his wife, and the wife also in like manner to the husband. The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband. And in like manner the husband also hath not power of his own body, but the wife. Defraud not one another, except, perhaps, by consent, for a time, that you may give yourselves to prayer; and return together again, lest Satan tempt you for your incontinency. 10-15- But to them that are married, not I but the Lord command, that the wife depart not from her husband. And if she depart, that she remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband. And let not the husband put away his wife. For to the rest I speak, not the Lord. If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she consent to dwell with him, let him not put her away. And if any woman hath a husband that believeth not, and he consent to dwell with her, let her not put away her husband. For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the believing wife; and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the believing husband: otherwise your children should be unclean; but now they are holy. But if the unbeliever depart, let him depart. For a brother or sister is not under servitude in such cases. But God hath called us in peace.

1 Corinthians 7:27,39 “Art thou bound to a wife? seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? seek not a wife. A woman is bound by the law as long as her husband live; but if her husband die, she is at liberty: let her marry to whom she will; only in the Lord.”

Hebrews 13:4 “Marriage honorable in all, and the bed undefiled. For fornicators and adulterers God will judge.”

2 Peter 2:14 Having eyes full of adultery and of sin that cease not: alluring unstable souls, having their heart exercised with covetousness, children of malediction: END #67

ERROR #68. The Church has not the power of establishing diriment impediments of marriage, but such a power belongs to the civil authority by which existing impediments are to be removed. — Damnatio “Multiplices inter,” June 10, 1851.

What utter arrogance, from these usurpers, who substitute God’s plan for their own self will. Nobles wanting to diriement ( void) their marriages without cause against God’s Word, began passing statutory laws as if these could override God’s word. While the Church instituted centuries before, and to date out lasting all civil authority on this earth, was granted explicit authority to govern the people of God, in the City of God as it sees fit. As the Lord granted in these words “WHATSOEVER”. Now the sheep know the shepherds voice, and the wolf they know not. We have a long list of christian false prophets who upon abandoning the True Faith, became illicitly involved and married of a second time, against many verses of scripture to the contrary. The Lord granted this Authority, Son of man has the power to forgive sin.

Church Authority from Jesus, “the keys to heaven” So in the following passages Jesus grants His Church the power to lose and bind on earth and heaven. (ENUFF SAID!)

(Mt9:6) But that you may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then said he to the man sick of palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go into thy house.” [Mk2:10; Lk5:24, Jn20:23, Ps77:38,]

(MT16:16-19)Simon Peter answered and said: Thou art Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answering, said to him: Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-Jona: because flesh and blood hath not revealed it to thee, but my Father who is in heaven. And I say to thee: That thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give to thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven. And whatsoever thou shalt bind upon earth, it shall be bound also in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose upon earth, it shall be loosed also in heaven.

(Jn20:22-23,28)When he had said this, he breathed on them; and he said to them: Receive ye the Holy Ghost. Whose sins you shall forgive, they are forgiven them; and whose sins you shall retain, they are retained. Thomas answered, and said to him: “My Lord, and my God.”

[note complete authority and trust. Jesus did not outline a list of
exceptions for any pagan out side His Church – not Islam, LDS or
Luter-ism, or Amazonian heathens]

The state has it’s power and authority over it’s citizenry but as disappointed that the 2nd City of Man may be, it’s authority does NOT extend beyond it own borders. While the Church binds and loosens Sin over the entirety of humanity, on earth and in Heaven, Inside or Outside her Walls! Now some from the 2nd City of Man may deny this authority, but such a denial [disobedience] does not change Jesus Words, nor make them go away. For Jesus also said, “And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fall.” [Lk16:17, 21:33; Mt5:38, 24:35; Mk13:31]; This then is what the Church Teaches! END #68

ERROR #69. In the dark ages the Church began to establish diriment impediments, not by her own right, but by using a power borrowed from the State. — Apostolic Letter “Ad Apostolicae,” Aug. 22, 1851.

Once again, the 2nd City of Man’s imagination on his own authority over the Church. As if, the Church required the state’s authority to govern her people. If they above statement were true. So what? It is the Church’s prerogative to use or teach as it sees fit. “Whatsoever” per above #68, as long as she maintains the Truth of Christ’s and the Apostles teaching and God’s Natural Law.

ERROR # 70. The canons of the Council of Trent, which anathematize those who dare to deny to the Church the right of establishing diriment impediments, either are not dogmatic or must be understood as referring to such borrowed power. — Ibid.

Pope Pius IX once again refers to Apostolic Letter Ad Apostolicae, the Church’s authority comes from Jesus Christ handed down to his Apostles

ERROR #71. The form of solemnizing marriage prescribed by the Council of Trent, under pain of nullity, does not bind in cases where the civil law lays down another form, and declares that when this new form is used the marriage shall be valid.

CIC Canon 1055,#2 For this reason a matrimonial contract cannot validly exist between baptized persons unless it is also a sacrament by that fact.

CCC1617. The entire Christian life bears the mark of the spousal love of Christ and the Church. Already Baptism, the entry into the People of God, is a nuptial mystery; it is so to speak the nuptial bath.111 which precedes the wedding feast, the Eucharist. Christian marriage in its turn becomes an efficacious sign, the sacrament of the covenant of Christ and the Church. Since it signifies and communicates grace, marriage between baptized persons is a true sacrament of the New Covenant..112

Civil law of a state is one thing. But the Law of Grace under the Forgiveness of Sins of those Baptized is another matter completely, and that law is outside the Walls of any civil authority of Man. God judges Man, not man Judges for himself.

ERROR # 72. Boniface VIII was the first who declared that the vow of chastity taken at ordination renders marriage void. — Ibid

Pius IX disagrees with this falsity, and refers to his Ad Apostolicae document. But we also have our Catholic Catechism that provides clear evidence to the contrary, including scripture, footnotes.

CCC 1618. Church is the center of all Christian life. The bond with him takes precedence over all other bonds, familial or social.113(1Cor7:32) From the very beginning of the Church there have been men and women who have renounced the great good of marriage to follow the Lamb wherever he goes, to be intent on the things of the Lord, to seek to please him, and to go out to meet the Bridegroom (Mt25:6) who is coming.114 Christ himself has invited certain persons to follow him in this way of life, of which he remains the model: (Rev14:4)“For there are eunuchs who have been so from birth, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. He who is able to receive this, let him receive it.”115 [Mt19:12]

CCC1619. Virginity for the sake of the kingdom of heaven is an unfolding of baptismal grace, a powerful sign of the supremacy of the bond with Christ and of the ardent expectation of his return, a sign which also recalls that marriage is a reality of this present age which is passing away.116 [Mk12:25, 1 Cor7:31]

CCC 1620. Both the sacrament of Matrimony and virginity for the Kingdom of God come from the Lord himself. (Mt19:3-12, 22) It is he who gives them meaning and grants them the grace which is indispensable for living them out in conformity with his will.117 Esteem of virginity for the sake of the kingdom118 and the Christian understanding of marriage are inseparable, and they reinforce each other:

Whoever denigrates marriage also diminishes the glory of virginity. Whoever praises it makes virginity more admirable and resplendent. What appears good only in comparison with evil would not be truly good. The most excellent good is something even better than what is admitted to be good.119 [st john Chrysostom De Virg 10, 1 pg48.]

ERROR #73. In force of a merely civil contract there may exist between Christians a real marriage, and it is false to say either that the marriage contract between Christians is always a sacrament, or that there is no contract if the sacrament be excluded. — Ibid.; Letter to the King of Sardinia, Sept. 9, 1852; Allocutions “Acerbissimum,” Sept. 27, 1852, “Multis gravibusque,” Dec. 17, 1860.

CCC1617 Council of Trent 1563 DS1800 Since therefore, matrimony in the evangelical law , by grace through Christ, excels the ancient marriages, our holy Fathers, the Councils and the tradition of the universal church with good reason have ALWAYS taught that it is to be classed among the sacraments of the New Law; and since impious men of this age , madly raging against this teaching, have not only formed false judgments concerning this venerable sacrament, but according to their custom introducing pretexts of the Gospel a carnal Liberty, have in writing and word asserted may things foreign to the mind of the Catholic Church…. to be destroyed, decreeing anathemas against these heretics and their errors. (City: Always a Sacrament, when two Baptized person Marry, The NEW EVANGELICAL LAW of Grace from Jesus!!!)

ERROR #74. Matrimonial causes and espousals belong by their nature to civil tribunals. — Encyclical “Qui pluribus,” Nov. 9 1846; Damnatio “Multiplices inter,” June 10, 1851, “Ad Apostolicae,” Aug. 22, 1851; Allocution “Acerbissimum,” Sept. 27, 1852

Amazingly, these Heretics argue for civil marriage, but yet in Gen 2:18:25 (First marriage created by God. Bone of my bone, flesh of my flesh, she shall be called woman… And the Lord God said: It is not good for man to be alone: let us make him a help like unto himself. ….: but for Adam there was not found a helper like himself. Then the Lord God cast a deep sleep upon Adam: and when he was fast asleep, he took one of his ribs, and filled up flesh for it. And the Lord God built the rib which he took from Adam into a woman: and brought her to Adam. And Adam said: This now is bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called woman, because she was taken out of man. Wherefore a man shall leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they shall be two in one flesh. (Gen2:18-25)And they were both naked: to wit, Adam and his wife: and were not ashamed. Again Gen(3:16) To the woman also he said: I will multiply thy sorrows, and thy conceptions: in sorrow shalt thou bring forth children, and thou shalt be under thy husband’s power, and he shall have dominion over thee. Once more, in (Gen3:21),” And the Lord God made for Adam and his wife, garments of skins, and clothed them.” Jesus explains, “He saith to them: Because Moses by reason of the hardness of your heart permitted you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so. (Mt19:8)

Of course, all of this was pre-government formed of social Man!, and the 2nd City of man had just begun.

Daily Indulgence: S.C. Ind., Feb 6, 1893; S.P.Ap, May 8,1935). RACCOLTA pg. 34.
